Follow these steps if you are having trouble signing into Outlook with your Microsoft 365 account:

Step 1: Start with the onmicrosoft.com Address
• First, try signing in using the @myorg.onmicrosoft.com format email address.
– Example: joe@myorg.onmicrosoft.com
• Use the same password as your normal email account.
⚠️ This will fail — do not worry.

Step 2: Fresh Authentication Session
• This attempt will open a fresh authentication session inside the Outlook app.

Step 3: Sign In with Your Correct Credentials
• Outlook will then prompt you to sign in again.
• This time, enter your correct email address in the standard format:
– Example: joe@mydomain.com
• Provide your normal email password.
✅ You will then be properly redirected to Outlook, which will continue to sign in without issues.
