Overview
If your Office apps are not working correctly, you can repair the installation using the steps below.
Step 1 - Open Programs and Features
- Press Windows Key + R, type
appwiz.cpl, and press Enter - Locate Microsoft 365 Apps in the list
Step 2 - Run Repair
- Select Microsoft 365 Apps
- Click Change
- Choose one of the following options:
- Quick Repair - faster and fixes most issues
- Online Repair - deeper repair but requires an internet connection
- Click Repair
Notes
- After the repair completes, restart your computer and test Office again
- If Quick Repair does not resolve the issue, run Online Repair as a follow-up
